Guest Speaker Introduction:
Armenak Antinyan is a tenure track assistant professor at Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, China. Previously he was the research director at CRRC-Armenia, an adjunct lecturer at Agribusiness Teaching Center and at the American University of Armenia, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, a visiting fellow at the University of Innsbruck, Austria and a research assistant at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. On top of academic activities, he serves as a consultant for development organizations.Dr. Antinyan obtained his Ph.D. in Behavioral and Experimental Economics at the Graduate School of Economics and Management at the University of Venice, Italy. Prior to doctoral studies he received MA in Quantitative Economics (double degree) from the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, France and the University of Venice, Italy as well as BSc in Economics from Yerevan State University, Armenia.

Abstract:
This paper aims to study the impact of gains and losses on conditional and unconditional cooperation as well as on the distribution of player types. Gains and losses affect neither the unconditional cooperation nor the distribution of the player types. Nevertheless, loss makes individuals more self-serving conditional cooperators.
