In order to broaden students' international horizons and create opportunities for students to study abroad, the accounting major of BNUBS has launched the "Yu Jing International Study Tour Program" since 2016.  Each year, about 20 accounting majors will be selected to take part in short-term study Tours abroad. The first New York University Visiting program (report link) and the second and third Cambridge University Visiting program (report link) were successfully concluded in 2017 and 2018.

Girton College, University of Cambridge was selected as the visiting destination of the fourth "Yu Jing International Study Tour Plan". The University of Cambridge is composed of 31 independent self-governing colleges and 6 academic colleges. Girton College is a member of the College and was founded in 1869. The project will last for two weeks from July 7 to July 20, 2019, including English courses and visits to representative institutions in Cambridge and London. The fourth phase of "Yu Jing International Study Tour Plan" will include 20 students.

1. Application qualifications

A first-year or second-year undergraduate student (except those who have participated in previous years) or a postgraduate student (except those who have participated in previous years) majoring in Accounting, BNUBS, with good conduct, good health, excellent academic performance and fluent English.

2) Application time

The above application materials (electronic version) should be sent to haoying@bnu.edu.cn before 16:00 on March 30, 2019. The subject of the email should be: Summer Vacation 2019YJ -- Applicant name. The application materials are subject to your reply.

3) Admission process

At 9:00 a.m. on April 1, 2019, a unified interview will be held at 1620 in the back of the main building, and the list will be submitted to the college. After the college submits the list to the other university, the other university will decide the final admission list.

3. Project cost

The programme costs £2,980 after concession, including: accommodation and food; Excluding: passport fee, insurance, some meals, airfare and visa fee.

Cost sharing: The Sun Education Fund shall bear 13000 yuan/person, the college shall bear 8000 yuan/person, and the rest shall be borne by individuals.

4. Emphasis

The study tour needs to be approved and issued by the school of the other party. If the selected students cannot attend the study tour due to personal reasons, precious opportunities and places will be wasted. Therefore, the relevant losses and expenses will be borne by the individual.
