Ⅰ. School Introduction

The International University of Japan (IUJ) is Japan's first graduate University, founded in 1982 by Dartmouth University and the Japan-American Chamber of Commerce. It focuses on developing influential international leaders in business, government, global organizations and the non-profit sector and it is ranked first in Japan and sixth in Asia by The Economist MBA Ranking 2019.  Its business school is also an AACSB accredited elite business School.

 

 Ⅱ. Overall Description

 

1. Program Introduction

1) 1+1: 1 year in BNUBS + 1 year in IUJ. Students will receive degree of BNUBS and degree of IUJ. According to the requirements of the MBA program of BNUBS in that year, students who are selected by Japan International University can go to Japan International University for further study in the second academic year and take master courses of MBA.  The university recognizes 22 credits of courses taken at the International University of Japan (recognized as degree specialized courses).

 

2) 2+1: 2 years in BNUBS+ 1 year in IUJ. Students will receive degree of BNUBS and degree of IUJ.

4. Number of Students

 

No more than 20 students are selected each year.

5. Fees

1) One year tuition: 1.55 million Japanese yen (about 98,000 yuan), which can be divided into two semesters;

2) Dormitory Fee: 35,000 JPY per month (about 2250 RMB);  Scholarship: Apply for the Japanese Government JASSO Scholarship (Monthly Stipend: 48,000 yen), most students can get it.

Ⅲ. Application Requirements

English score requirements:  Meet one of the following 4 conditions: 1) IELTS 6.5;  2) TOEFL 550/79/213;  3) TOEIC 800;  4) Cet-6;

Courses Scores in Beijing Normal University: The average score of courses in Beijing Normal University should reach GAP 3.0 (full mark 4.0), which is equivalent to 70 points out of 100 in our School

Ⅳ. Application Materials

1. Application Form
2. Passport - with photo information page to ensure at least 6 months of validity upon completion of the program;
3. Language score -- IELTS/TOEFL paper score. If you have not received the paper score, you can take a screenshot of the website first.　　　

4. School Transcript -- The first year's transcript in Both Chinese and English with the seal of the Academic Affairs Office of the University;
