Professor Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS, said in his speech that reform and opening up is a key move that determines the fate of contemporary China, and it is also a key move that determines the realization of the "two centenary goals" and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. At present, in the process of promoting high-level opening up, China's development has entered a period of coexistence of strategic opportunities and risks and challenges, and uncertainty and unpredictable factors are increasing, and various "black swan" and "gray rhino" incidents may occur at any time. The continuous promotion of high-level opening to the outside world has put forward new requirements and tasks for China's personnel training and academic research. It has become a major responsibility and obligation for universities to closely focus on the strategic deployment of the Party and the state, adhere to the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and cultivating people, build a high-level teaching staff, focus on cultivating international, high-quality and composite international economic and trade talents, and carry out in-depth research on major international economic issues.
