On the afternoon of April 16, 2023, the donation ceremony of Class 96 Alumni Feng Lu from BNUBS and the 32nd lecture of Alumni Forum was successfully held in Conference Room 9406 of the JINGSHI HOTEL. Feng Lu, a former director and vice president of a listed company, has rich practical experience in the information technology industry and in-depth experience in the integration of industry and education. Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Han Lili, Associate Secretary of the School, Li Ani, Director of the Alumni Office, representatives of undergraduate students and family members of Feng Lu attended the event. The meeting was chaired by Han Lili, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee of the School.

In his speech, Sun Zhijun, on behalf of the School, expressed his sincere thanks to Feng Lu for his kindness in helping the education and development of students in the School. He also introduced the development and achievements of the School in recent years from the aspects of scientific research, faculty and talent training. He pointed out that the alumni donation will set up the "Feng Lu -- Dao Jie" Innovative Practice Scholarship, BNUBS Inspirational Star Scholarship, and BNUBS Overseas Exchange Support Scholarship for students from poor families, which will be used to encourage and finance the pursuit of excellence and innovative development of our students.

Later, Sun Zhijun presented the donation certificate to Feng Lu.

In the keynote lecture, Feng Lu expressed his gratitude to the School, and his pride in the achievements of his Alma mater. He said that he would continue to pay attention to the education and development of young students, and shared his harvest and sentiment over the years after graduation with the title of "The Confession of a 96 graduate -- The Method of Cultivating the Heart of Business in the Age of Number Wisdom". Feng Lu first talked about the old buildings and trees of the School in his study life. He shared his study time and development experience with the students and recalled the influence of the School on his life. His words were full of deep feeling and blessing. Next, from the perspective of business students, he put forward the opportunities and challenges brought by digital economy, meta-universe and artificial intelligence to the development of contemporary college students. He introduced the generation and function of block chain, digital economy, Web3 and other new things in a humorous and simple way, and encouraged students to integrate resources in different fields by using horizontal thinking, and to have the courage to try and make mistakes by combining interests and diversified development.

Finally, Feng Lu gave detailed answers to the questions raised by the students about how to seize the opportunity in undergraduate life and how to experience personal abilities.

The students said that after listening to the lecture of Feng Lu, they were encouraged to cherish the campus life more. They had a clearer understanding of the study plan and a deeper reflection on the direction of life. In the future, they will take excellent alumni as an example, do a good job in inheritance, strive to forge ahead, aspire to be successful, return to their Alma mater and serve the country! So far, this activity has come to a successful end.
