On the afternoon of August 31, the welcome party for 2023 international overseas students was successfully held. Cai Hongbo, Associate Dean of BNUBS, Directors of the freshman class, including Sun Yue, Yang Haijia, Wang Dan, all international freshmen of 2023, some inbound students of 2022, representatives of senior students, exchange students of 2023, and all teachers of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office attended the welcome party. The meeting consists of four parts: "Campus Introduction", "Leaders’ Speech", "Experience Sharing" and "Free Talk". Xie Jia, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, presided over the welcome party.

In the "campus introduction" session, Ms. Xie focused on the management system of university-level and university-level international students, the enrollment reporting process, the duties of class teachers, course selection mechanism, campus life and study, and answered the questions that students were concerned about.

Afterwards, Associate Dean Cai Hongbo once again welcomed the arrival of international students. He mentioned that the world was changing rapidly, and the international political and economic uncertainties were increasing, but this highlights the importance of international exchanges and cooperation. He believed that choosing to study in China and Beijing Normal University was a right decision. He hoped that young students from all over the world can strengthen exchanges and enhance understanding, and gain knowledge and friendship through studying and living in Beijing Normal University.

In the "Experience Sharing" session, HONG, ANALIA BELEN (Argentina), BEHZAD, AHMAD FAWAD (Afghanistan), SHURJO and FAZLE MEHRAB (Bangladesh) gave speeches and shared their experiences of studying and living in Beijing Normal University with the new students.

Finally, in the "Free Talk" session, the students introduced themselves in turn and expressed their excitement about entering China for the first time and their love for the campus of Beijing Normal University. Although they have only been in the School for a week, the students have already fully felt the warmth and friendliness of Beijing Normal University, and each student has spoken highly of the thoughtful arrangement and service of the School.

The Party ended in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
