From July 4 to 5, 2023, Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS, Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean of BNUBS, Professor Jiao Hao, Associate Professor Zhou Jianghua and Associate Professor Zheng Feihu went to Zibo City, Shandong Province, to conduct in-depth research on the development of barbecue economy, the connotation of Qi culture, local party history and party building work, and school-enterprise cooperation planning. Li Dongxian, General Manager of Zibo Tourism Development Group Co., LTD., Wu Di, Associate General Manager, Bai Lingang, Director of Chuanqi Education, Bian Wenjing, Director of the Group's Comprehensive Department, and Wang Huachun, Director of the group's education base, gave warm welcome to the team.

On the afternoon of July 4, the research team investigated the Eight Major Markets and Zhoucun Ancient Mall in Zibo successively. They had a comprehensive understanding of the ins and outs, driving factors, development environment, measures and results of the barbecue economy, and had a deep understanding of Zibo's business history and culture. On July 5, the research team investigated Zibo National Defense Education Base, Yanshen Ancient Town, the old site of the Municipal Party Committee Red Cultural Education Base, Zhongshuge, and Taoliu Museum, and had a further understanding and understanding of civil air defense, party history and party construction, intangible cultural heritage inheritance, and cultural and creative industry development.

On the occasion of visiting the Red Culture and Education Base, the former site of the CPC Zibo Municipal Committee, the research team reviewed the oath of admission to the Party. Subsequently, the research team went to the headquarters of Zibo Cultural Tourism Group and conducted in-depth exchanges with the group's senior management team. Dean Qi Yudong pointed out that BNUBS and Zibo Cultural Tourism Group can give full play to the advantages of both sides and carry out extensive and in-depth cooperation in business case development, student practice base, case competition, project cooperation and other issues. General Manager Li Dongxian deeply agreed with Dean Qi Yudong's proposal, and said that Zibo Cultural Tourism Group will cooperate with the BNUBS, integrate the resources of both sides, and implement the school-enterprise strategic cooperation in a solid and in-depth way. On this basis, the research team and Zibo Cultural Tourism Group further clarified the next stage of cooperation planning between the two sides.

This survey was an important part of the School’s Party Committee's study and implementation of the theme education of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and the study and education of Party history. It deeply integrated the theme education with practical research and school-enterprise cooperation, and the teachers had a deeper understanding of the local history and culture, economic development situation, cultural and creative industry innovation, and enterprise management reform. At the same time, it further expanded the student practice base and case study base.
