On the evening of October 22, 2023, the 23rd lecture of "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" of BNUBS, "Business Model Shaped by Large Models", was held in the lecture theatre of the Electronics Building. Professor Lu Benfu, Vice President of China National Innovation and Development Strategy Research Association and School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to give the lecture. Professor Zhou Jianghua, Director of MBA Education Center, presided over the lecture. Professor Qi Yudong, Dean of the School and nearly 200 students were present to listen.

Keynote speaker Prof. LuBenfu

Starting with general purpose Technology (GPT), Professor Lu Benfu introduced the digital economy, which has become the cradle of GPT, and introduced the basic laws of digital economy, the value of knowledge elements, etc., and then focused on the function, principle, and market application of large models.Combining cutting-edge developments in the field, Professor Lu discussed topics such as employees beyond intelligence, layout-specific models, and the employment effects of the smart economy, providing a comprehensive analysis of business models shaped by large models. In the end, Professor Lu and the students had full interaction and communication, and answered various questions of many students.

Zhou Jianghua, Director of MBA Center, thanked Professor Lu Benfu for his profound and simple explanation. The atmosphere of the lecture was warm and the students actively asked questions. Through this lecture, the students learned the basic logic and cutting-edge knowledge of large model shaping business model, and benefited a lot.

Introduction to the Lecture Series “Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall”

BNUBS adheres to the mission of “Promoting business and culture to serve the nation and the world by creating knowledge and developing talents" and continues to pay attention to the development and practice of digital economy and management. Since September 2020, the “Digital Economy and Management Frontier Lecture Series” has been held 21 lectures. From May 2023, the lecture series has been officially upgraded to “Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall”, showing the current development picture of digital economy and management from the perspectives of economy, management, culture, technology and change, trying to interpret the connotation and law of this surging forward tide. To lead the deeper thinking and practice of China's economic development and enterprise change and innovation in the new economic era.

From October to December 2023,“Digital Economy and Management Frontier Lecture Series” successively invited 6 heavyweight experts to share lectures, welcome to attend.
