On June 16, 2023, Zhao Chen, Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications; Li Hongbing, Director of the Department of Economics and other four people came to our School for exchange and discussion.

First of all, Cai Hongbo introduced the basic situation of the School's discipline layout, talent training, scientific research achievements and so on. Jiang Jie introduced the school's experience in the construction of financial technology major in terms of training objectives, curriculum setting, teacher arrangement, external cooperation, etc. Xu Minbo introduced the development and construction of the Department of Economics and his thoughts on the development direction of digital economy in detail.

Zhao Chen introduced the development of the School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and explained the recent development direction of the school's condensed digital economy, scientific research assessment programs, etc. Li Hongbing gave a detailed introduction to the financial technology undergraduate training program of the Department of Economics and the construction of first-class majors. Subsequently, the two sides carried out in-depth and detailed exchanges on the development of economic disciplines, the construction of financial technology majors, the integration of industry and university, the construction of disciplines, graduate training, and scientific research evaluation.

The symposium strengthened exchanges of economic disciplines between the two sides and promoted cooperation in professional construction. In the next step, the two sides will continue to condense the development characteristics of the discipline, optimize the construction direction of the first-level discipline of economics, and promote the construction of financial technology and the characteristics of the digital economy.
