In January 2024, the Department of Digital Economy and Management held a symposium for Teacher Sun Chuan's retirementwith the theme of "Strengthening Moral Education and Cultivating People, Passing Wisdom down from generation to generation". All the teachers of the Department of Digital Economy and Management and the Department of Human Resources participated in the event.

On behalf of the School, Ms. Jiang Jie, president of the Union of the School, expressed gratitude to Mr. Sun Chuan for his years of hard work and selfless dedication. Mr. Sun Chuan has studied and taught in Beijing Normal University for more than 40 years, and has accumulated profound humanistic heritage. He is down-to-earth and trust-seeking and full of humanistic care.
