The kick-off meeting of MBA Entrepreneurship Competition of BNUBS was held in Jingwen Lecture Hall on the evening of September 16. With the theme of "Building Your Dream with Innovation", the competition was organized by the MBA Education Center of BNUBS, organized by the MBA Student Union of Beijing Normal University and the MBA Entrepreneurship Club of Beijing Normal University, and co-organized by the Jingshi New Media Center. Dean Qi Yudong, Associate Dean Cui Xuegang, Associate Party Secretary Han Lili, Zhou Jianghua, Director of MBA Education Center; Wang Jun, Vice President of Beijing Normal University Asset Management Co., LTD; Tu Jing, Vice President of Plum Ventures; Shi Chenxing, Lenovo Venture Capital Investor; Li Qi, CEO of Zhongke Qisheng, Partner of Mofei Capital; Ni Ming, North Region Marketing Manager of HSBC; Li Hongyan, Vice President of Beijing Business Headquarters of Zhongtai Capital Management; Gao Donghui, Founding Partner of Beijing Zhongkuo Law Firm and Beijing Normal University MBA alumni attended the meeting. They witnessed the grand event of "Passion and dream flying together, innovation and dream developing together".

The meeting was divided into two sessions, which was chaired by Zhou Jianghua, Director of MBA Education Center, BNUBS.

Dean Qi Yudong first delivered a speech for the competition. He said that holding the MBA Entrepreneurship competition is an important measure to cultivate the innovative thinking and entrepreneurial ability of MBA students with the help of The Times, science and technology waves, economic tide and information flow under the background of the world without great changes in a century, and it is also an important measure to realize the mission of BNUBS to “Promote business and culture to serve the nation and the world by creating knowledge and developing talents.“ Dean Qi encouraged the students to actively respond to the national strategic policy of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" in the new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country, and to be diligent in entrepreneurship, innovation and entrepreneurship. He also hoped that through the MBA Entrepreneurship Competition, students could better understand the nature of business, the choice of strategy, the art of management and the law of the market. At the same time, Dean Qi hoped that by building the platform of entrepreneurship competition, students can grow and be stable and courageous, make the enterprise bigger and stronger, do better and do better for a long time.

Then, Wang Jun, Vice President of Beijing Normal University Asset Management Co., LTD; Tu Jing, Vice President of Plum Ventures; Shi Chenxing, Lenovo Venture Capital Investor; Li Qi, CEO of Zhongke Qisheng, Partner of Mofei Capital and Ni Ming, North Region Marketing Manager of HSBC expressed their understanding of the entrepreneurship competition from their respective professional fields, and also actively offered suggestions and guidance for the entrepreneurial projects of students.

After the guest sharing session, the meeting entered the second half.

Qu Min, Executive President of MBA Entrepreneurship Club of Beijing Normal University and MBA 2022, introduced the basic situation of this entrepreneurship competition. This competition has four stages: registration, primary, semi-final and final. From September to November, there were 22 participating teams, covering six tracks of intelligent manufacturing technology innovation, AI and the Internet of everything, smart Earth innovation, business service innovation, cultural innovation and content production, and smart education innovation, basically covering the current emerging entrepreneurial types in all walks of life.

The final part of the kick-off meeting was the demonstration of the participating teams, and 22 participating teams took the stage in the order of pre-drawing for a one-minute presentation. It is worth mentioning that compared with the first entrepreneurship competition, the entrepreneurial ideas of this competition are more innovative, and the coverage of the six circuits is more balanced, which also highlights everyone's enthusiasm and expectations for this entrepreneurship competition.

The MBA Entrepreneurship Competition of BNUBS is an important measure to promote the integration of course teaching, practical activities and entrepreneurship enabling, and build a good environment for innovation and entrepreneurship and an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem, in collaboration with the MBA Education Center of the School and all departments, inter-school, enterprises and various innovative and entrepreneurial platform resources of the School.
