Time :2023-11-21

On November 6 and November 13, 2023, with the support of the School's International Exchange and Cooperation Office, the Department of Human Resource Management of BNUBS had the honor to invite Professor Chris Rowley into the class of Organizational Behavior to participate in the teaching of leadership in the form of online lectures. More than 60 teachers and students from the college participated in the class both online and offline.

Professor Rowley's teaching focused on "Effective Leadership in Uncertain Times For International Business & Globalization."He began with a conceptual explanation of "uncertainty" to help students understand its profound impact on the decision-making environment. He then detailed how to lead effectively in uncertain situations, using real-world examples. He emphasized that leaders must have multi-faceted capabilities, and led students to sort out the similarities and differences of different leadership concepts and the issues of The Times as they responded to from the two dimensions of "work-employee". Finally, he shared his dialectical thoughts on how to lead more effectively in the current environment. In the course of teaching, he repeatedly encouraged students to take root in reality and dialectically understand and absorb textbook concepts based on their own cultural situations. Through this class, students developed a deeper understanding of leadership, viewed the textbook from a more global perspective, and expressed a strong enthusiasm for continuing to explore and learn.
