On the evening of May 20, 2023, the 18th lecture of "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" of BNUBS, i.e. Development Trend and Policy Thinking of Artificial Intelligence, was held in the lecture hall of the Electronics Building. Dr. Wang Xiwen, a famous science and technology writer and Dean of Beijing Huaxia Industrial Network Intelligent Technology Research Institute, was invited to give the lecture, and Li Jing, Associate Director of MBA Education Center, presided over the lecture. Nearly 150 students attended the lecture.

Dr. Wang Xiwen started from the development of artificial intelligence, focusing on the development and evolution of ChatGPT. He explained in detail the operation mode of ChatGPT, which is characterized by a large language model (LLM) behind the scenes and a new man-machine dialogue interface in front of the platform, and further analyzed the core technology of ChatGPT: advanced algorithms, efficient computing power and a large amount of data.

In the interactive session, Dr. Xiwen Wang answered a number of students' questions on artificial intelligence.

Finally, Zhou Jianghua, Director of the MBA Education Center, said in the conclusion that Dr. Wang Xiwen's lecture systematically introduced the status quo and development of artificial intelligence, which was quite enlightening. While learning about ChatGPT technology and applications, you should pay more attention to the future of AI compliance and policy development, and look forward to the harmonious development of AI and human beings in the future.
