In order to fully implement the series of important discussions and instructions of the General Secretary Xi Jinping on philosophy and social science work and education work, implement the directive opinions of Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng on "Strengthening the construction of case bases, relying on key enterprises and units to build a number of demonstration case study bases", and accelerate the construction of cases with Chinese characteristics, on July 3, 2023, the Seminar on the Construction of Chinese Enterprise Case Study Base was held in Beijing, which was sponsored by the Center for China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center(CDGDC) and the China Enterprise Confederation. Jiang Xiaojuan, former Deputy Secretary-General of The State Council and chairman of China Professional Degree Case Construction Expert Advisory Committee; Zhu Hongren, Party Secretary, Executive Vice President and Chairman of China Enterprise Confederation; Nie Qingbin, Associate Director of the Department of Social Science of the Ministry of Education and other leaders attended the meeting. Fan Hailin, China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center(CDGDC), presided over the opening ceremony.

At the seminar, the Center for China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center(CDGDC) and the China Enterprise Confederation decided to jointly set up a number of enterprise case study bases, with "famous enterprises + famous masters" as the main model, excavating the great practice of reform and opening up in the new era and socialist modernization, and developing and forming a series of major cases of enterprises with epochal, scientific and innovative characteristics. They planned to build 30 bases in 5 years, and produce 100 high-quality case study results and teaching case results, so as to promote the leap from practical innovation to theoretical innovation and promote the theoretical innovation results to feed the innovation and development of enterprises. 12 enterprises were selected as the first batch of enterprise case study bases, Including Aviation Industry Corporation of China Limited, China National Offshore Oil Corporation Limited, China Huadian Group Limited, China Great Wall Technology Group Co., LTD., China National Railway Group Limited, China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., LTD., Shandong Port Group Co., LTD., BYD Co., LTD., Hesteel Group Co., LTD., Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., LTD., Beijing Dabinong Technology Group Co., LTD., IFlytek Co., LTD. 23 expert teams from the whole country, including BNUBS , were selected as the research team of the Enterprise Case Study Base. Professor Qi Yudong was hired as the chief expert of the enterprise Case Study Base, and the team members included Professor Jiao Hao, Associate Professor Zhou Jianghua and Assistant researcher Du Bo. Our research team will cooperate with Hesteel Group to conduct in-depth, systematic and holistic case development and research, and form high-quality case studies and teaching case results.

In the future, BNUBS would continue to strengthen case studies and teaching work, strive to develop a number of famous enterprise case results, and contribute wisdom and strength to accelerate the construction of cases with Chinese characteristics and promote the deep integration of industry, university and research.
