On the evening of December 2, 2023,The 25th Lecture “Practical Wisdom and Capability Building for Enterprise Digital Transformation” of "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" Was Successfully Held in Classroom 108 on the second floor of the Teaching Hall of BNUBS. Professor Dong Xiaoying from Guanghua School of Management of Peking University was invited to give the lecture, and Li Jing, Associate Director of MBA Education Center, presided over the lecture. More than 200 students attended the lecture.

Professor Dong Xiaoying first introduced the urgency of digital transformation, she believed that the digital economy can improve the total factor of social productivity, digital transformation is a strategic window that China can not miss. She then pointed out the uncertainties and many difficulties that enterprises face in terms of strategy, business, technology, return on investment and model in digital transformation.

In the lecture, Professor Dong focused on practical wisdom in digital transformation. She believed that practical wisdom's ability to make rational decisions in a dynamic changing environment includes four dimensions: anticipating uncertainty, grasping strategic layout, organizational change system actions and balancing overall performance. She also systematically analyzed the above dimensions.Finally, she shared the practical wisdom cases in the digital transformation of "Midea", elaborated the macro and micro co-evolution relationship of enterprise digital strategy and digital practice, and fully exchanged and discussed with the students present to answer questions for the students.

Li Jing, Associate Director of MBA Education Center, expressed her gratitude to Professor Dong Xiaoying for her unique lecture, which not only helped students broaden their horizons of knowledge and dabbling in research frontiers, but also stimulated their academic enthusiasm and interest. The lecture ended successfully in the warm applause of the teachers and students.

BNUBS adheres to the mission of “Promoting business and culture to serve the nation and the world by creating knowledge and developing talents" and continues to pay attention to the development and practice of digital economy and management. Since September 2020, the “Digital Economy and Management Frontier Lecture Series” has been held 21 lectures. From May 2023, the lecture series has been officially upgraded to “Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall”, showing the current development picture of digital economy and management from the perspectives of economy, management, culture, technology and change, trying to interpret the connotation and law of this surging forward tide. To lead the deeper thinking and practice of China's economic development and enterprise change and innovation in the new economic era.

From October to December 2023,“Digital Economy and Management Frontier Lecture Series” successively invited 6 heavyweight experts to share lectures, welcome to attend.
