In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress and learn about the vivid practice of China's digital economic development, on the afternoon of June 28, 2023, our School went to Baidu to conduct a research. Dean Qi Yudong, Director of MBA Education Center Zhou Jianghua, Associate Director of MBA Education Center Wang Lulu, shoulder counselor Li Lun, students of MBA and master and doctoral students, altogether 40 people, participated in this activity.

First of all, the group visited Baidu's corporate culture exhibition area and office area under the guidance of the staff, and learned about Baidu's development history, business structure, patented inventions, technology applications and corporate culture.

Later, the teachers and students took a test ride in Baidu's Apollo driverless car to experience Baidu's latest technology application in autonomous driving. At present, Baidu's autonomous travel service platform "Radish Fast Run" has provided fully unmanned autonomous travel services in three cities, Beijing, Wuhan and Chongqing.

Then, the teachers and students of our School and the relevant personnel of Baidu Intelligent Cloud Intelligent Industry Division engaged in discussion in the conference room. Shi Qiao, head of the Ecology of the Intelligent Cloud Intelligent Industry Division, gave a comprehensive introduction to Baidu's business layout from the four aspects of Baidu chip layer, framework layer, model layer and application layer, showing a series of results produced by Baidu in the past 10 years in deep learning, artificial intelligence, automatic driving, AI chip and other frontier fields. She also specifically introduced Baidu's intelligent cloud intelligent industrial ecology construction, and shared the ecological cooperation cases obtained by Baidu in industrial quality inspection, safety production, industrial optimization and other business scenarios.

Finally, the two sides held a heated discussion on Baidu's business advantages, profit model, digital empowerment, technology for the better, artificial intelligence and talent cultivation.

This activity provided a valuable opportunity for teachers and students to have an in-depth understanding of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, which was of great significance for promoting the integration of production, learning and research, enhancing school-enterprise cooperation, and promoting personnel training.
