Teachers and Students of the Department of Human Resource Management Went to Tianjin to Carry out Academic Exchange Activities

In order to further explore management innovation in the era of artificial intelligence and promote the frontier development of management academic research, the "2024 Tianjin University Doctoral Academic Forum - Business Administration Sub-Forum" co-sponsored by the Human Resources Department of BNUBS was successfully held on September 27, 2024. With the theme of "Management Innovation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence", the forum was attended by Xu Zhixing, Dean of Human Resources Department, Ju Dong, Associate Professor, Li Lan, Lecturer and Cai Zijun, and doctoral student Zang Jinliang, doctoral student Wang Weifeng, doctoral student Gan Mengge and graduate students of BNU. The Three doctoral students participated in the discussion of the sub-forum "Organizational Strategy and Human Resource Management under Intelligent Talent Analysis".



Doctoral student Wang Weifeng's presentation topic is From Subordinate Expertise to Ethical Leadership: The Roles of Work Hope and Moral Identity, which deeply explored how subordinates' professional competence influences leaders' moral leadership behavior through the mediating role of work hope and moral identity.

Zang Jinliang reported on the topic of The Gossip Rises in the Tea Room: The Impact of the Consistency of Workplace Gossip Preference on Employee Performance, and deeply explored the concept and impact of workplace gossip. Zang Jinliang's research provides a new perspective for understanding workplace gossip and reveals its potential impact on employee performance, especially in the context of Chinese culture, and provides new ideas for future research.

With the theme Does work-related ICT use during commute promote the speed of work engagement? A role transition perspective, Gan Mengge conducted an in-depth report. Gan calls on future researchers to focus on the impact of task characteristics on employee engagement during commuting, suggesting an event-driven design to better understand the process. The report provides a new perspective on the relationship between commuting and work participation, highlighting the dual impact of ICT use on employees' psychological state and work performance.

At the academic forum, doctoral student Wang Weifeng presented her thesis "From Subordinate Expertise to Ethical Leadership: The Roles of Work Hope and Moral Identity " and won the first prize for Outstanding Thesis of the 2024 Business Administration Doctoral Forum. Her study has been unanimously recognized by the review experts for its innovation and theoretical depth, which not only expands the theoretical framework of ethical leadership, but also provides guidance at the practical level.

The participating teachers agreed that the papers presented in this forum not only have an important breakthrough in theoretical innovation, but also show a rigorous academic attitude in research methods.
