From June 19 to 30, 2023, BNUBS successfully held the “International Summer School of Digital Economy”. In accordance with the requirements of the Notice on the Special Work of "Growth Partners" International Summer School for Basic Disciplines by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, relying on the 2.0 base of the Training Plan for top students in Economics, our School organized cutting-edge courses with the theme of "Digital Economy" in combination with the advantages and characteristics of our disciplines. More than 300 domestic and international undergraduate students from our School and Zhuhai campus participated.

The Summer school lasted for eight days, and seven professional scholars from many famous universities and research institutions in China gave special lectures on the frontier areas of the digital economy, including the micro foundation and macro theory of the digital economy, financial technology and digital assets, the innovation and development of China's digital financial industry, financial artificial intelligence and modeling, data technology and finance innovation, digital trade, etc. We have also created opportunities for top students to have access to the academic frontier, establish academic aspirations and enhance academic ability.

On the morning of June 21, students were specially organized to visit the 21st China International Urban Construction Expo, where students personally experienced the industrial digital development trend of the urban construction industry, combined theoretical learning with practical exploration, promoted interdisciplinary integration, promoted top students to carry out innovative practice, and released innovative potential.
