On December 29, 2023, the Department of Accountingheld a symposium with the theme of "Pursuing Excellence for Decades and Cultivating Students for Several Generations" for Teacher Shen Chang 'e's retirement Meeting at Room 1722 of the Rear Back Building. All teachers of the Department of Accounting participated in the event.

First of all, Ms. Jiang Jie, chairman of the Union of the School, thanked Ms. Shen for her many years of hard work and selfless dedication on behalf of the School. Ms. Jiang believed that Ms. Shen, as a professor, still adhered to the original intention of pursuing progress and excellence, and constantly improved herself. In this process, she was strict with herself, respected rules and actively participated in the public affairs of the college. Mr. Jiang praised Mr. Shen's work style and excellent quality as "Pursuing Excellence for Decades and Cultivating Students for Several Generations". On behalf of the School union, Mr. Jiang sent Ms. Shen a retirement souvenir and wished her all the best after retirement.

Then, Ms. Wu Qinhong, the Head of the Department, thanked Mr. Shen for her efforts in the work and development of the Accounting Department for decades, and reviewed the days of fighting side by side with Mr. Shen in the early stage of the construction of the Accounting Department. It can be said that without the hard work of the teachers in the early stage of the construction of the department, there would be no harmonious and stable development of the Accounting Department today. On behalf of the Accounting Department, Ms. Wu sent Ms. Shen a souvenir and flowers for her retirement, hoping that she would continue to care about the work of the Accounting Department after retirement and visit her "home" often, and wished her good health and a colorful life after retirement.

Then, the teachers of the department talked about the past, recalled the experience of working together, and expressed sincere thanks to Mr. Shen and the wish for her life after retirement. Finally, Ms. Shen gave a speech on her retirement, in which she shared her years of working in the Department of Accounting, expressed her reluctance to the work of the Department of Accounting and her colleagues, as well as her expectations and blessings for the future development of the Department of Accounting. Throughout the symposium, photos of various activities of the Accounting Department and teachers participating in activities were played on the computer screen in the venue, and the background music of "Loving each other and Family" was played. Finally, the symposium ended with applause and congratulatory words.
