The latest result of ESI was released on March 9, 2023, covering data of the whole 11 years from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2022. The Economics and Business discipline of Beijing Normal University has entered the top 1% of ESI globally, becoming the 16th discipline of our university to enter the list.

I. Comparison of disciplines in March from 2021 to 2023

From 2021 to 2023, the absolute number of economics and business papers increased in terms of the number of publications, citation times, average citation frequency and highly cited papers (see Table 1).

Ii. Changes of ESI Disciplines in March from 2021 to 2023

Consistent with the prediction of the library information analysis of Beijing Normal University, BNUBS has successfully entered the top 1% of ESI in this period, becoming the 16th subject of Beijing Normal University to enter the list.

Note: ESI is a Basic Science index database, which is widely used in the world to evaluate the academic level and influence of universities, academic institutions, countries and regions.
