On November 2, 2022, BNUBS held a general meeting in the lecture Hall on the second floor of Yingdong Academic Hall. More than 150 faculty members and student Party members attended the meeting. The conference was presided over by Sun Zhijun, Party secretary of the School.

   The meeting began with a Party member congress of BNUBS, which elected Party representatives to attend the 14th Party Congress of the university. Subsequently we held the School Labor Union committee general assembly, elected a new round of committee members.

At the meeting, Sun Zhijun conveyed the spirit of the Party's 20 National Congress to the participants. He pointed out that we should fully implement Xi’s Thought on building socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, integrate our thoughts and actions into the Party's 20 National Spirits, fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the new vision for development, build a new development pattern, and make new contributions to promoting high-quality economic development, comprehensively building a modern socialist country, and comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. He stressed that the report to the Party's 20th National Congress has for the first time put education, science and technology, and human resources in a more prominent position, which is of great strategic significance and far-reaching influence. We must have a deep understanding that education is a top priority for the state and the Party, understand the rich implications of giving priority to education and the requirements of our times, and appreciate the basic and strategic supporting role of education in promoting high-quality development and building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. He proposed to study, publicize and implement the Party's 20 Spirit as the primary political task at present and in the coming period. According to the overall arrangement of the university and the college, the Party branch of teachers and students should actively study, publicize, interpret and practice the Party's 20 Great Spirits in combination with the disciplines and fields of study, and integrate the Party's 20 Great Spirits into their daily work, so as to achieve deep learning, thorough understanding and practical practice.

 

　

  Sun Zhijun also conveyed the spirit of the university's policies and put forward requirements on the construction of teachers' ethics, safety and stability, and epidemic prevention and control work. At the same time, on behalf of the Party and government teams, he reported the progress of this semester's work in the aspects of talent training, talent team construction, discipline and scientific research, internationalization, student work and the next arrangement.

   At the meeting, the new Associate Secretary of the School Party Committee Jiang Jie and Han Lili made their work comments respectively. Xu Fans, Sun Changling, Xu Licheng, Zhang Huilin and Li Lun, new teachers of the School introduced themselves respectively.

   In the next step, BNUBS will implement the Party's twenty great spirit into various specific work and practical actions, and strive to build the School into a first-class school of economics and management at home and abroad!
