On the evening of September 23, the opening ceremony and entrance Education Meeting for 2022 MBA students was held in the lecture Hall of Yingdong Academic Hall. According to the current epidemic situation and the requirements of the school's prevention and control work, the ceremony will be held both offline and online. Qi Yudong, Dean of the School of Economics and Business Administration, Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee, Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean, Cai Hongbo, Associate Dean, all the teachers of MBA Education Center, freshman class teachers, representatives of MBA 2021 and all freshmen of 2022 attended the ceremony. The activity is divided into two parts: "Opening ceremony" and "Entrance education".

Qi Yudong, the Dean of the School, first of all, on behalf of the school, welcomed the new MBA students of the class of 2022. In his speech, he said that this year marks the 120th anniversary of the founding of Beijing Normal University. It is of great significance to be enrolled in this special year. Considering the historical background and domestic and international development trend, students should think more deeply about their academic pursuit and life value. They should do a good job of learning planning through the "Six Learning", improve the pattern of life through the "Five Non-competition", pay attention to the Five Yuan" and "Five Quotient " training, adhering to the school motto of "learn to be a teacher, behave in the world", establish the ambition of " Promoting business and culture to serve the nation and the world through creating knowledge and educating talents", grasp the historical opportunities, become outstanding talents dedicated to the society and brilliant achievements.

Su Song spoke as the faculty representative of the School. Starting from his own experience of studying for an MBA in Tsinghua University 22 years ago, he inspired his classmates to think about three things about MBA study: "Why do you want to study?" "Why choose Beijing Normal University?" "How do you read it well?" . He stressed that the study of MBA should combine theory with practice, make full use of the humanistic advantages of Beijing Normal University, enrich and improve their thinking pattern. Students should let themselves take a humanistic perspective, improve their insight, seize the opportunity, grasp the future, combine practice with theory, realize the spiral rise, improve the value of their own enterprises and assume more social responsibilities.

Li Sihan, the representative of MBA Class 2021, spoke as the representative of senior students. By sharing her learning experience of the past year and how she got rid of anxiety and confusion, she encouraged the freshmen to go out of their comfort zone and broaden the boundaries of life. She encouraged them to cherish the campus time, grasp the moment, hold on to their ideals and passions, and become better themselves without negative feelings.

Wang Xiaohui, MBA of Class 2022, spoke as the representative of freshmen. She shared her entrepreneurial process from starting a headhunting company to building a company in three places. She was called "the best partner" by Class A clients for five consecutive years. With her inspiring experience in career development and the initiation of the dream and original intention of re-entering the campus to comprehensively improve herself, she shared encouragement with all her classmates to embrace a new life in the MBA of Normal University and become a high-quality elite with courage to practice.
