From September 13 to 16, 2022, the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) international certification panel conducted a four-day online reaccreditation evaluation of our School. The reaccreditation panel was chaired by Prof. Dominique Turpin, Dean of the European side of CEIBS. Members include Dr. Jean-Philippe Ammeux, Dean of the IESEG School of Management, France; Professor Ye Kangtao, Dean of the School of Business, Renmin University of China; and Mr. Anton van Rossum, former CEO of the Netherlands-Belgian Financial services company Fortis Foundation and Director of the European Financial and Industrial Company.

During the evaluation period, the expert group conducted more than 10 online interviews with university leaders and functional department heads, School leadership members, degree program leaders, teachers and students representatives, alumni, external partners, etc. They also conducted a comprehensive and in-depth investigation on the development strategy and objectives of the School, degree programs, student training, faculty, academic research, executive training, resource security, internationalization level, ethics, social responsibility and sustainable development, and practical connection, and also conducted a detailed review of the electronic certification database provided by the School.

On September 16, certified experts gave oral feedback to the college about the online interview, and the college leaders listened carefully. The expert group gave full recognition to the good reputation of our School, the innovation of digital transformation, the high quality of teaching level, and the high evaluation of stakeholders. At the same time, the expert group also put forward valuable suggestions for the School from the aspects of strategic planning, deepening the international level of education and expanding the practical connection.

Finally, on behalf of the School, President Qi thanked the expert group for their intensive and efficient work over the past four days. He said that every participant benefited a lot from the certified online interview. Based on the feedback and suggestions of the expert group, the School will continue to improve and adhere to the mission of "becoming a first-class school of economics and management with cultural heritage and international influence".

It is reported that according to the EQUIS certification regulations and procedures, the final certification results will be officially notified to our institute and announced at the end of this year.

Notes: EQUIS stands for European Quality Improvement System, An international accreditation system initiated and operated by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which evaluates the quality of higher management education institutions and promotes the advancement of education in the form of accreditation. Launched in 1997, it is the most rigorous quality certification system in Europe. It is based on the success of international management education as the certification criteria. EQUIS is known for its comprehensive and rigorous assessment and is one of the most authoritative certification systems in the world. Our institute received EQUIS accreditation for the first time in 2016, EQUIS accreditation again in 2019, and welcomed the third Reaccreditation expert on-site review in September 2022.
