In order to continuously improve the quality of MBA education and teaching, continuously enhance the brand value of MBA of Beijing Normal University, and strategically meet the new challenges and requirements of MBA education and teaching, BNUBS held the 2022 MBA teacher symposium online on July 14, 2022.Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean of the School, more than 40 professional teachers involved in MBA teaching and thesis guidance, and all the staff of the MBA Education Center participated in this symposium, which was presided over by Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean of the School.

Associate Dean Cui Xuegang first briefly introduced the development of MBA in recent three years and the new challenges faced.On the whole, in the past three years, the number and quality of MBA enrollment have been continuously improved, the major direction and training program have been continuously optimized, practical teaching has been increasingly enriched, the quality of dissertation has been stable and good, student satisfaction has been increasing, and MBA has played an increasingly significant role in serving the development of the School.These achievements are benefited from the active dedication and innovation of the faculty.At present, MBA work is facing new challenges, so there are new development requirements. Cui Xuegang analyzes the MBA education environment and regulatory environment, MBA development strategy, teaching management system and incentive system, practice teaching innovation, dissertation quality control and other aspects.Finally, Cui Xuegang introduced students' thoughts and expectations of MBA education under the conditions of the recent epidemic, as well as the hard-won opportunities for offline courses in the summer of 2022, and emphasized the matters for attention of offline teaching.

In the process of teachers' free speech, 16 teachers combined their thoughts, doubts, insights, actions and results in their own teaching and research work to speak freely, and put forward very relevant opinions and suggestions on MBA strategic development direction, teaching direction construction, tutorial system, quality control of courses and papers, and alumni association construction. Sun Chuan, Director of MBA Education Center, stressed that MBA Education Center will timely sort out and summarize the problems and suggestions raised in this symposium, improve the deficiencies, improve the executive ability, and effectively serve teachers and students.

Finally, the Party Secretary Sun Zhijun made a summary speech. Secretary Sun proposed that in order to achieve long-term development, we should design the overall plan, determine the general direction and constantly polish the details, from the enrollment work to the subsequent training work, from the quality control of in-class course papers to the improvement of extra-curricular sense of acquisition and experience, from the brand building of MBA of Normal University to the career development of students, from the opening up of undergraduate, master and doctoral courses to the external communication and alumni work. All the work needs to be considered as a whole and planned as a whole. He hopesthey can pool our wisdom and wisdom, and document the relevant discussion results.
