On the afternoon of May 16th, the general meeting for the new spring semester of BNUBS was held online. All the faculty and staff attended the meeting, and Dean Qi Yudong chaired the meeting.

Party SecretarySun Zhijun first gave a detailed explanation on the current epidemic situation in Beijing and the school's epidemic prevention policies in which he hoped all the faculty members would understand and comply with the current epidemic prevention policies, strictly observe the bottom line and do not cross the red line. He also urged all teachers to ensure the quality of online teaching, give full play to the ideological and political effects of courses, and promote students' learning and fight against the epidemic. In light of the emphasis of BNU, he emphasized the key points of work of BNUBS in this semester and this year. What's more, he stressed that we should comply with the arrangement and requirements of the educational activities on comprehensively and strictly Governing the Party of the Party Committee of the university, advocate a culture of honesty in the new era and welcome the opening of 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements. In the end, Sun Zhijun explained the overall consideration, objectives and content of the various systems introduced and revised in this semester, and put forward further requirements for the party building work and strict control of financial risks.

Ge Yuliang, Associate Secretary, briefed the work regarding students. At present, the epidemic prevention and control of the campus has been raised to the highest level. Under this circumstance, we hoped that the head teacher and postgraduate tutor will take the initiative to pay attention to the psychological statesof students, especially students in the control area, provide more convenience for students to give feedback, and cater to the needs of students. At the same time, we should figure out the number of students in campus, urge them to stick to the daily report and make sure they all get nucleic acid testing. What’s more, we should we should also pay close attention to the employment of students and make every effort to encourage students to actively find jobs.

Zhang Pindan, Associate Dean of BNUBS, introduced the work of undergraduate, master and doctoral talent training, in which he focused on the revision of undergraduate talent training program and the progress of talent training work made in this semester. All teachers are expected to actively participate in the revision of the talent training program.At the same time, he expected us to do well in online thesis defense of undergraduate and graduate as well as daily teaching and final examination.

Associate Dean Cui Xuegangintroduced the key work of international certification and MBA education.The school has completed the 2022 EQUIS re-certification and AACSB certification through improving the strategic planning and implementation. Besides,in 2022, MBA enrollment, teaching and dissertation defense were carried out smoothly.

Associate Dean Cai Hongbo introduced the progress of scientific research and other relevant information of the School.All disciplines of our school have performed well in The Times Higher Education Discipline Rating in 2022, and our scientific research has achieved continuous achievements with a series of lectures and three institutional documents related to scientific research.

Finally, in his summary speech, Dean Qi Yudongput forward general requirements for the key work of discipline construction, curriculum quality construction and talent cultivation innovation at the present stage.He introduced General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on digital economy and the content and requirements of the Ministry of Education to promote the construction of new liberal arts in light of the development situation of international digital economy. Currently, we are facing the urgent task of specialty optimization, curriculum quality improvement and model innovation and it is hoped that all the teachers of the School will actively comply with the requirements of the digital economy era, strengthen the research on digital economy and management theory, do a good job in the "digital" transformation of relevant majors and key courses in the three first-level disciplines of Digital Technology and Digital Economy Empowering and Economics and Management, innovate the talent training mode, and constantly improve the quality of talent training.
