From April 22 to 23, 2022, the 2022 BNU Sports Meeting was formerly opened with the theme of "No Sports, No Education – BNU, with a 120 years history, seeks to rejuvenate the country by education". Teachers and students of BNUBS participated actively in the games, demonstrating the spirit of unity, cooperation, hard work, self-transcendence and courage. Dean Qi Yudong attended the opening ceremony, Associate Secretary Ge Yuliang took part in the queue demonstration, and Associate Dean Cui Xuegang attended the closing ceremony.

The opening ceremony startedwith wonderful performance, which themed “the spirit of the dragon and lion”, “Light and flexible, a mixture of rigidity and flexibility”, “Women’s football and basketball, Full of Glamour”, “Dancing youth, move together to the future” respectively. More than 900 teachers and students participated in the event, among them our students fought hard and achieved great results.

After the wonderful opening ceremony, the games officially kicked off. Teachers and students in our School achieved great results in both individual events and team events with their enormous efforts. In teacher’s competition, Mr. He Hao Yan won the second place in the men's 1200m race in Division B. In the student’s team competition, we won the second place in Group A of 30x150m placer relay race, third place in Group A of 3V3 Basketball Bullfight, Fifth place in Taijiquan, the fifth place in the medicine ball competition, the second place in one-minute pull-ups, the third place in one-minute push-ups, and the fourth place in one-minute sit-ups, second place in soccer shooting, second place in breast jump relay, third place in group A of table tennis competition, fifth place in volleyball pass-mat match. In the individual student events, Zhang Panyan won the 8th place in men's long jump, Shi Xiaofan won the 6th place in individual Taijiquan, Liu Hang won the 2nd place in women's high jump of Group A, Tian Jiahe won the 3rd place in men's high jump of Group A.

On the afternoon of April 23, the 2022 BNU Sports Meeting came to a successful conclusion.In this sports meeting, our School won the third place in group A of undergraduate competition, and was awarded the honorary title of "Top Ten Team Performance Award" again. After the sports meeting, we still will continue exercises and challenge ourselves. Engaging in exercise will not onlybring teachers and students a healthier body and a fuller spirit, but also help them to be more actively involved in work, study and life, and constantly transcend themselves to achieve new self-breakthroughs.
