On April 11^th, the theory Learning group of the Party Committee of BNUBS conducted a collective study on the digital economy development of the national "14th Five-Year plan" . Party Secretary Sun Zhijun, Dean Qi Yudong, Associate Party secretary Ge Yuliang, Associate Dean Zhang Pingan, Associate Dean Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean Cai Hongbo attended the learning session. The meeting was chaired by Sun Zhijun.

At the meeting, Dean Qi Yudong delivered a keynote report entitled "National 14th Five-year Plan for digital Economy Development". Dean Qi first elaborated on the characteristics of the digital economy era, the opportunities and prospects for promoting the transformation and upgrading of economic structure and helping China's economy to "develop fastly", and the he introduced General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on digital economy. He then highlighted the chapter on digital economy in the country's 14th Five-Year Plan, and introduced the status quo and situation, overall requirements and overall deployment, key projects and safeguard measures of the development of digital economy by combining with the national "14th Five-year Plan". Particularly, he pointed out that digital economy has given a "new track" and "new driving force" to economic and social development, and is becoming a new engine driving economic growth. At last, Qi introduced the main contents of the construction of new liberal arts in the era of digital economy and put up some ideas on mode innovation of economic and management personnel training, and how to empower and transform related majors with digital technology and digital economy. The report is rich in content and thorough simple but profound analysis, it has strong theoretical value and practical significance.

Party Secretary Sun Zhijun pointed out that through the systematic learning of comprehensive understanding of the development of digital economy, key areas, we hope everyone can comply with the important discourses of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the development of the digital economy, understand the content of national "14th Five-Year Plan " and the urgency and necessity to promote the development of digital economy, thus seizing the development opportunities of the digital economy. Firstly, we need to strengthen the theoretical research on digital economy, guide the faculty to actively serve the major strategic needs of the country, and explore the intersection and integration of digital economy with other economics and management disciplines; secondly, we need to strengthen practical research and cooperation for digital enterprises, track enterprise cases, and explore new social service paths combining digital economy and digital enterprise management; thirdly, we need to strengthen the innovation of talent training concept and mode under the background of digital economy, adhere to the fundamental task of moral education, and explore opportunities for students' internship, employment and further study in the field of digital economy.

All participants have agreed that we need to take the initiative to grasp the digital economy development trend, take the initiative to apply the modern information technology means, actively promote modern information technologies, such as artificial intelligence, big data and promote the further integration of subjects, enrich the teaching content, strengthen the building of new digital advantages of BNUBS.
