On the morning of February 18th , The Party-Government Joint Extension meeting was held in the conference room 1722 in the Rear Main Building, with the participation of all leaders, department directors and department heads. Dean Qi Yudong chaired the meeting during which key work in 2022 was discussed and deployed.

 

 

 

Party SecretarySun Zhijunpointed out that in 2022, the School will further strengthen the construction of grassroots Party organizations, and strive to build a standard, standardized and characteristic grassroots Party branches. When it comes to teachers, we would promote the cultivation of top-notch talents,the construction of teaching and scientific research teams. When it comes to the finance, we aim to reform the budget system and separate it intobudget for general items and special tasks, ensuring that the budgets for general items is responsible for basic operation and that the budgets for special tasks support key and distinctive tasks of the year.

 

Deputy SecretaryGe Yuliangintroduced the work of student development and ideological and political education this year. The key work is to continue to do a good job in ensuring that all students can find satisfied jobs and the construction of counselor team and student cadre training. Taking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League and the 120th anniversary of the founding of the University as an opportunity, we are committed to improving the comprehensive quality and employment advantages of students through party building, academic activities, cultural and sports activities, social practice and other characteristic brand activities. 

 

AssociateDeanZhang Pingping pointed out that the key work of this year is to build the Base 2.0 of Training Program for Top Students in Basic Disciplines of The Ministry of Education of Economics. We should also make revision on training program for undergraduate and postgraduate students, promote the pursuit of "Double Ten Thousand Plan", do a sound work in undergraduate major optimization and talent training for the construction of new liberal arts, promote the sharing of high-quality teaching resources among departments and build outstanding teaching and research teams with characteristics.

 

AssociateDean Cai Hongbo pointed out that in terms of disciplines, comprehensive measures will be taken to consolidate the discipline advantages of Theoretical Economics, promote the evaluation of doctoral program of Business Administration, the application of professional doctoral program, and the construction of doctoral program of Applied Economics. When it comes to scientific research, we would further improve the scientific research evaluation system, create landmark achievements, actively undertake major national scientific research tasks, promote the accelerate high-quality development of international exchanges and cooperation. In the meantime, we will promote Zhuhai Campus to focuson creating a brand professional master's program for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 

Associate Dean Cui Xuegang introduced the key work arrangement of MBA education, international certification, internal control. In 2022, we will continue to strengthen the brand building of MBA, improve the quality of MBA teaching and papers, and do a good job in the governancemechanism and cultural construction of MBA center. We should do a good job in EQUIS recertification and AACSB certification evaluation.  

 

Yang Juan, Director of The Department of Economics, Wei Hao, Director of the Department of International Economics and Trade, Hu Haifeng, Director of the Department of Finance, Wu Qinhong, Director of the Department of Accounting, Jiao Hao, Director of the Department of business Management, and Chen Yan, Director of the Department of human Resources Management respectively introduced the key work arrangements of their departments, including first-class professional construction projects, textbook construction, curriculum construction, case construction, teachers and students practice, international exchanges. Leaders of MBA Center, School Office, Sub-Youth League Committee and International Exchange and Cooperation Office made supplementary reports on the construction of fine case projects, special topics for the 120th anniversary of the school, professional administrative team of learning, characteristic student activities, cultivation of international students, high-level cooperation with overseas universities and other responsibilities.

 

Finally,Dean Qi Yudong put forward the main goals and specific requirements for the key work of the School in 2022. The School is aimed to further improve the disciplinary system, strengthen the training of research-oriented talents, build an excellent teaching team, start the compilation and publication of high-level series of textbooks, improve the evaluation and reward system for scientific research, continue to build a simple and inclusive school culture, constantly improve the management efficiency of administrative staff and hold a series of special activities around the centennial of the founding league and the 120th anniversary of the founding of the University. We hoped that on the basis of maintaining the good start of the "14th Five-year Plan" of the college, we would continue to do the key work with high spirits, and salute to the 120th anniversary of BNU with more excellent results.
