The 19th Accounting Doctoral Forum of “Shanghai Finance University, Tsinghua University, Sun Yat-Sen University, Nanjing University, Chongqing University, Central University of Finance and Economics and Beijing Normal University”(in order of participation) was successfully held online On November 27-28, 2021. This Doctoral Forum was initiated by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Tsinghua University in 2002, and subsequently joined by Sun Yat-sen University, Nanjing University, Chongqing University, Central University of Finance and Economics and Beijing Normal University. So far, it has been successfully held for 19 sessions. The forum aims to build a high-quality platform for doctoral students in Accountingto communicate with each other, and has cultivated many outstanding young and middle-aged scholars in the field of Accounting.

The forum was hosted by BNUBS, with Prof.Hao Ying as the host of the opening ceremony and Prof. Cui Xuegang, the AssociateDean, delivering a speech.Then, in seven sub-sessions, Associate Prof.Zhou Bo, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Prof. Huang Zhizhong, Nanjing University, Prof.Luo Ting, Tsinghua University, Prof. HuShiyang, Chongqing University, Associate Prof. YangDan of Beijing Normal University, Assistant Prof. Zhang Xinyi, Sun Yat-sen University and Associate Prof. Liang Shangkun,Central University of Finance and Economics (in order of host)hosted keynote speechsuccessively.  

The sub-sessions adopted an in-depth communication mode of "doctoral report - comment - free discussion". Dr.Liu Jinsong of Tsinghua University, Dr. Zheng Minghuiof Sun Yat-sen University, Dr. LiangSiyuan of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Dr. YangLingxuan of Chongqing University, Dr.Xu Jia of Beijing Normal University, Dr LiHanminof Central University of Finance and Economics, Dr YangJianfaof Sun Yat-sen University, Dr LiYibo of Chongqing University, Dr Zhu Chao of Nanjing University,Dr Liu Ruilin of Tsinghua University, Dr LingZixi of Central University of Finance and Economics, Dr HeSiyi of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Dr HuangYuxiu of Beijing Normal University (in order of report) reported their papers respectively. A total of more than 100 doctoral and master students watched and learned online.  

In the closing ceremony, the teachers of the seven schools selected two papers forExcellent Paper and two people for Excellent Critic through anonymous voting.Among them, Channel Business Regulation and Corporate Bank Loan Financing -- A Quasi-natural Experiment Based on the New Rules on Asset Management by He Siyi and JinQingluand Does Reputation Matter? Evidence on Spatial Competition in China's Bond Market by Liu Xing and Yang Lingxuan won the Award of Excellent Paper respectively. Yang Lingxuan and Liu Jinsong won the Excellent Critic Award respectively. Professor Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean of BNUBS, presided over the award ceremony.At last, Professor Zeng Qingsheng, Associate Dean of School of Accounting, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), the organizer of the next forum, made a speech, preliminatively confirmed the time of the forum next year, and invited the teachers and students of the seven schools to continue to attend to the forum.
