On the morning of December 1, 2021, the School held a symposium for newly recruited teachers in 2021.Dean Qi Yudong, Party Secretary Sun Zhijun, new teachers Gong Shiyang, Kong Haiyang, Xiang Hongyu, Gao Jingjing, Wang Xue, Wang Wei and others attended the meeting. The symposium was presided over by Qi Yudong.

At the meeting, Sun zhijun introduced the culture, systems, discipline setting and development of BNUBS.He hoped that young teachers can make sound development plans in teaching, scientific research and social services, concentrate on teaching and scientific research, focus on talent cultivation, broaden their horizons and further expand the space for academic development on the basis of their own academic research. 

The teachers were very active. Based on the actual situation, teachers raised some questions and expressed their views on the teaching curriculum, scientific research project approval, scientific research achievements publication, school and college reward mechanism, assessment and promotion policy, school culture construction and other aspects, and made suggestions for the development of the college. The leaders of the School listened carefully, gave detailed answers to each teacher's questions, and discussed some questions and suggestions.

Qi Yudong pointed out in the conclusion that he hoped that young teachers could adapt to the new environment as soon as possible, establish academic goals, and make clear career development plan. In teaching, he hoped that the teachers adhere to the "moral education", see it as the basic task of education, participate in the talent training work and strive to be "four good teachers". In scientific research work, they should pay attention to improving the quality of scientific research results, make clear the direction, and comprehensively improve the academic research ability.
