On the afternoon of October 23, the First Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum of MBA School in Beijing Universities & Founding ceremony of MBA Entrepreneurship Club of Beijing Normal University were held in Beijing Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center.

 

MBA alumni from Beijing Normal University, Central University of Finance and Economics, China Agricultural University, China University of Political Science and Law, Communication University of China and other dozens of key universities attended the opening ceremony of the forum and club. Professor Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean of BNUBS, and Associate Professor Zhou Jianghua, Associate Director of MBA Center, attended the meeting. Zhang Jingzhong, Academician of The Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhang Renxian, Former Associate Director of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Education, congratulated the establishment of The MBA Entrepreneurship Club of Beijing Normal University through a video message and expressed their expectations for the club's role in China's innovation and entrepreneurship process.  

 

 

 

 

 

Professor Cui Xuegang delivered a speech at the forum. He pointed out that the essence of entrepreneurship is innovation, and the success of entrepreneurship is in whether we can achieve continuous innovation to provide new products and services needed by society Entrepreneurship is a state of struggle and spiritual wealth creation process. MBA group has a glorious mission and responsibility in the process of innovation and entrepreneurship in China. Today, the opening ceremony of the first Beijing MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum and the founding of Beijing Normal University MBA Entrepreneurship Club have fully reflected the desire and passion of MBA students in Beijing to commit to the cause of innovation and entrepreneurship of the motherland, and participate in the great social practice of innovation and entrepreneurship through spontaneous organization. He was pleased to see the leading role played by the MBA student organization of Beijing Normal University. He hoped that all MBA students could take this as a starting point to jointly explore the rules of innovation and entrepreneurship, exchange experience and encourage each other, and make due contributions to China's innovation and entrepreneurship in the future.

Associate Professor Zhou Jianghua mentioned a set of data in the keynote report: small and medium-sized enterprises account for 99.9% of the total number of enterprises in the US, and enterprises with less than 100 employees account for 98.2% of the total number of enterprises. These small and medium-sized enterprises create 1.5 million new jobs in the US every year, accounting for 64% of the new jobs in the US. Worldwide, small and medium-sized enterprises also account for more than 90% of the total. So they are of great significance in promoting economic development and increasing employment. In contrast, 50% of companies die in their first year and 95% don't make it past the first five years. The chance that a startup will survive is less than 5%. Zhou Jianghua pointed out, "Starting a business is very meaningful, but also very difficult. I hope MBA entrepreneurs can help each other in the entrepreneurship club and increase the success rate of entrepreneurship, even 1% means a lot to us."

Yang Fan, President of The MBA Association of Beijing Normal University and President of the MBA Entrepreneurship Club of Beijing Normal University, invited all universities to make efforts to create a sound atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship. Li Bing, Executive President of MBA Entrepreneurship Club of Beijing Normal University and Founder of Yinhutianxia (Beijing) Science and Technology Co., LTD., explained the club's vision of "activating individuals and striving for prosperity". The first ten million strategic investment project - Face Recognition Paper Machine also appeared at the scene. Founders Li Zhen and Lei Zhenshan explained the business model and entrepreneurial inspiration of this interactive public service media.
