Look Up At The Stars, Innovate And Change, Keep Your Feet On The Ground And Forge Ahead——The Opening Ceremony Of Management Empowerment Workshop Of MBA Education Center Was Held Smoothly

In order to help students build an after-class platform for in-depth discussion and the integration of learning and practice as well as to help them be able to find out enterprise management problems and solutions through management consulting practice while learning theories, and improve the management thinking framework with practical significance, at 18:00 on October 23th, 2021, the opening ceremony of Management Empowerment Workshop of MBA Education Center of Beijing Normal University, hosted by MBA Education Center of BNUBS and organized by Management Consulting Club, was successfully held in Classroom 108 of Teaching Building 2.

 

 

Professor Cui Xuegang, Associate Dean of BNUBS, Yin Xiaoye, founder of Nine World Era, Wang Meiyu, Vice President of Sichuangjia Management Consulting Co., LTD., Qin Hongwei from Huaxia Cornerstone Human Resources Co., LTD., and several core members of the management Consulting Club attended the meeting. The opening meeting was hosted by Associate Professor Zhou Jianghua, Associate Director of MBA Education Center of Beijing Normal University. Students applied enthusiastically and participated actively.

 

Zhou Jianghua said that management is a very practical discipline. The School has been constantly thinking about how to flexibly apply the theoretical knowledge of management, organizational behavior, human resource management to management practice, how to dig into the characteristics of management consulting and combine the practicality of management consulting with campus learning systematically and organically and how to promote cross-major communication among students of different major directions. The Management Empowerment Workshop was warmly participated by students. We also hoped that through this activity, we can promote the multi-dimensional interaction of "theory, thinking, ability and method" of students, and promote everyone to collide more sparks in the cross-border communication!

 

 

Cui Xuegang delivered a speech. He pointed out that the MBA of Beijing Normal University undertaked the responsibility and mission of running the MBA education with the characteristics of normal universities, and hoped to integrate the profound cultural heritage, school-running characteristics and disciplinary expertise of the university into MBA education. Through a series of management consulting club activities, the second classroom, business visit, BBS etc., we would continue to build the MBA center into an interaction platform, take the student as the main body for the MBA education out of the school, constantly improving the quality of education and education brand, to ensure that the MBA's application guidance and that it is career-oriented, so that we can set up benchmark for the future business education.

 

Yin Xiaoye, founder of Nine World Era, introduced the basic situation of the industry and the company. She introduced that her company was a media company with script writing business as the core, but at the same time also covered production and other businesses.It has been established for 5 years and has completed the first round of financing. With the growth of business demand, the company has entered the stage of requiring the efficiency and quality of script writing projects. In the face of pressure, the company's original management mode has encountered difficulties, which has brought certain risks to the company's brand, revenue and long-term development. She hoped to take this opportunity to communicate and explore with MBA students on the company's organizational structure, team management and control, incentive mechanism and other aspects and find solutions.

 

 

 

Huo Pengrui, MBA student of class 2021 and member of the Management Consulting Club, introduced the overall arrangement of the practice activities, and analyzed the activity rules, evaluation mechanism, team mechanism and reward mechanism in detail. She introduced: this activity is divided into three stages: 1+3+4 weeks, the completion of students' independent team, the preparation and revision of project proposal, the completion of project bidding, and through expert evaluation + group mutual evaluation to determine the final shortlist. This was not about competition. We hoped that through 2 months of practice, we can jointly discuss, study and put forward practical solutions to solve the dilemma of enterprise management, so as to achieve a win-win situation among enterprises, schools and students.

 

 

 

Wang Meiyu shared on the topic "How to Write an Excellent Project Proposal". By focusing on the application, structure and key contents of project proposal, detailed analysis of consulting project process, preparation method and core elements of project proposal, she talked about ways to understanding, attracting and retaining customers. At the same time, Wang Meiyu helped Party A ——Nine World Era to disassemble in detail from the perspective of professional consulting. She truly understood and grasped the core of the consulting project by digging customer portraits, analyzing customers' real difficulties and understanding customers' needs. Finally, through a large number of project proposals and project scheme cases, the framework and writing method of the project proposal were shown to students.

 

 

In the end, Nine World Era, consulting experts and on-site students conducted an interactive Q&A. Based on the original intention, company size, organizational structure, operation mode, corporate culture, core dilemma and appeal, they conducted interactive communication.

 

Practice matters most. Since its establishment, the Management Consulting Club has been developing and growing with the joint efforts of teachers and members of the School. It is committed to enabling business practice, creating a communication platform in the field of management consulting, and increasing students' sense of gain. We hoped the Management Empowerment Workshop would be an opportunity to create a more conducive environment for learning and growth, a more open and inclusive ideological exchange collision platform, to help students expand management practice ideas, improve systematic management thinking, promote interdisciplinary communication and achieve common growth.
