Recently, the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation  released the Construction Achievement Report (2016-2021) and the User Attention Report of Academic Journal Database (2020). China Economics Of Education Review was selected as the most popular journal of Education for 2020 and the most popular new journal for 2016-2020.

On May 17th, 2016, General Secretary Xi Jinping explicitly put forward the requirements of "accelerating the construction of the National Center of Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation, and building a convenient and resource-sharing information platform for philosophy and social sciences research" at the symposium on Philosophy and Social Sciences Work. In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech, under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, under the leadership of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and other relevant ministries and commissions, and with the participation of other social science institutions,  we jointly build “the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation” to carry out the construction and service of literature and information resources of philosophy and social sciences.

Approved by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, the China Economics Of Education Review was launched in May 2016. The journal is supervised by the Ministry of Education, sponsored by Beijing Normal University, and edited by the Capital Education Economics Research Institute of Beijing Normal University.

In May 2021, China Economics Of Education Review was selected into the CSSCI Extended edition of source journal Catalog, and is now recognized and encouraged by the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation. Here, we want to pay special thanks to the experts, scholars and the vast number of authors and readers who have been caring and supporting our publication since its inception!
