On the evening of June 10^th, The 21th special lecture & Alumni forum on integrity education was held at the 9406 conference room of JINGSHI HOTEL. The theme of this lecture was "Thinking about Money, Honesty and Financial Management". Mr. Jiang Quan, a former graduates who is now working in Bank of Beijing, was invited to share with us how to understand money and money, loan and credit, financial management and leverage. Ge Yuliang, Associate Secretary of the Party committee and Executive Associate President of the alumni association of the school, Han Lili, member of the Party Committee, and Li Ani, Director of alumni affairs attended the lecture.

Ge Yuliang emphasized the importance of integrity and the rule of law, and combined with the shocking specific cases to remind students to effectively improve the awareness of financial security, establish the values of honesty and trustworthiness and scientific and rational consumption concept. Teacher Ge specifically mentioned the protection of personal information and privacy on We-media and other platforms, hoping that everyone can prevent fraud and avoid non-performing loans and routine loans.

Combining with his 9 years’ experience in retail banking market analysis and consumer rights protection propaganda after his doctoral graduation, Jiang Quan first elaborated on his understanding of currency and money. He detailed the evolution process of cash payment, bank card payment and electronic payment, and analyzed the differences between digital RMB and virtual currencies such as Bitcoin in combination with the current social attention. He pointed out that the digital RMB was a digital currency issued and managed by the Central Bank of China. It had the unlimited legal compensation of legal tender and a stable currency value, and it was a digital form of cash. While virtual currencies such as Bitcoin were non-monetary assets that existed in the form of electronic data and are privately issued, not money in the real sense. Then, combining with the specific cases, Senior Jiang Quan introduced the main content of personal credit investigation and the reasons for bad credit records, reminding everyone to be vigilant about campus network loans and repayment of student loans on time. Finally, from the perspective of financial management and leverage, he explained in detail the common routine of telecom fraud, such as investment, winning lottery, bill painting, part-time job, claiming public security law as well as mobile phone loss, card theft brush remedial measures, reminding students to properly take care of personal documents, beware of all kinds of fraud, seek help from the public security organizations and the schools.

Finally, Mr. Jiang Quan encouraged all of us that the compound interest value of time would be magnified in the accumulation of small things, and the accumulated human capital will be the biggest lever to leverage the future. He hoped that all of us could focus on our studies and develop our abilities in a comprehensive way!

In the interactive part, students asked questions about how to view digital RMB and the difference between digital RMB and third-party payment such as WeChat and Alipay. He answered the questions from the areas and fields of the digital RMB pilot, political significance, user payment experience and other aspects. He predicted that the digital RMB would play a role in anti-money laundering, international payment settlement and other fields, and the country would also increase the promotion of the digital RMB, suggesting that everyone pay close attention to it.

Before the lecture, there was also a question answering session of honesty knowledge, many students participated and expressed that they had a further understanding and understanding of credit system, credit evaluation, honesty principle, credit record, student loan and other knowledge.
