According to the deployment of the university, on March 15th, the Teaching Guiding Committee of the college deliberated the Economics Major Training Program (Grade 2021) in the Training Base for Top Economics Students of the "Liyun Plan" through online and offline meetings. Qu Ruxiao, Chairman of the Teaching Guiding Committee, chaired the meeting. Associate Dean Zhang Pingdan introduced the revised background and overall requirements of the training program. Yang Juan, Director of the Department of Economics, and Xu Minbo, Associate Director, introduced the revision process, the revision ideas and the revision plan in detail. Dean Qi Yudong, Party Secretary Sun Zhijun and Associate Dean Cui Xuegang also attended the discussion.

In 2019, the undergraduate program of Economics was selected into the list of the first national first-class undergraduate program construction "Double Ten Thousand Plan" construction sites. In 2020, it was selected as the 2.0 base of the 2020 Top-notch Basic Discipline Training Plan of the Ministry of Education, and it is one of the 10 2.0 bases of the Top-notch Basic Discipline Training Plan of Beijing Normal University.
