On the afternoon of November 25^th , 2020, BNUBS held this years’ Symposium of “Face to Face with the Dean” with student cadre in 9408, the meeting room. Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS; Ge Yuliang, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee; Teacher Chang Xinyang, Secretary of League Committee; Li Longdi, Associate Secretary of League Committee; Wang Yinglu, Associate Secretary of League Committee; Liu Shuiqing, President of the Undergraduate Student Union; Liu Xingxing, President of Graduate Student Union and Zhu Yue, Vice President of Graduate Student Union attended the meeting.

First of all, Li Longdi and Wang Yinglu, Associate Secretaries of League Committee, introduced the "Jingxin Radio", the dandelion volunteer teaching activity, the revelation of the National Award and other special activities, and introduced the work plan of the Committee in the next year. Liu Shuiqing, President of the Undergraduate Student Union, explained the specific work of each department of the Student Union, and at the same time introduced the brand activities of BNUBS, such as "Breaking the Forum", transformation of ordinary people, enterprise visits and other activities in detail. Liu Xingchen, President of the Graduate Student Union, introduced the activities of “BNUBS · Famous Scholars Forum”and academic exchange and sharing meeting for graduate students, and put forward the difficulties encountered in the current activity and the plan for the next academic year. Zhu Yue, Vice President of the Graduate Student Union, made supplementary remarks. Teachers asked questions about the work of student cadres and provided suggestions and answers to their questions.

Dean Qi expressed high recognition for the current student work of the Student Union, Graduate Student Union and the League Committee. At the same time, He suggested that student activities should focus on "talent training", which should not only focus on students' studies, but also pay more attention to students' mental growth and physical health. On the basis of adhering to the original "brand activities", student organizations should carry out their work in a creative way, actively expand the types of activities, increase the participation of students, put students' experience of activities in the first place, and take students’ satisfaction as the standard. At the same time, President Qi also said that students are welcomed to put forward the needs of the work at any time, the School would fully support their work.

This “Face to Face with the Dean” activity further strengthened the student work and their connection with the School, each student cadre also fully expressed their enthusiasm to the student work and the future work outlook. It is hoped that in the following student work, all departments of Student Union, Graduate Student Union and League Committee can also provide students with more platforms for all-round development, so as to continuously improve the quality of talent training in the School of Economics and Management.
