On the morning of July 1, 2020, vice president Tu Qingyun organized the Exchange Meeting of "Ideological and Political Construction of Curriculum” for Great Discussion Forum on Education and Teaching. Associate dean Zhang Pingdan, and teachers’ representatives Li Kun from Department of Finance and Yang Juan, dean of Department of Economics attended the meeting.

This meeting is not only the deployment meeting for the comprehensive implementation of the Outline of Ideological and Political Construction of Curriculum of Higher Education, but also an exchange seminar of Great Discussion Forum on Education and Teaching on how to further strengthen ideological and political construction of curriculum. Li Kun of BNUBS made a statement. Furthermore, vice president Tu Qingyun also put forward three requirements: first, teachers should earnestly fulfill the responsibility of teaching; second, teachers should promote ideological and political construction combining with professional knowledge; third, all departments and schools should attach great importance to and promote comprehensively ideological and political construction of curriculum.

The course “Advanced Topics on Financial Market: Market Microstructure and High-Frequency Trading ”, taught by Li Kun, has been selected as the "Excellent Course for Ideological and Political Construction " of Beijing Normal University.
