The “Business Development Research Achievement Award” is a nationwide social science award established by the Ministry of Commerce. It aims to strengthen business strategy and policy research, prosper business theories, encourage units and individuals in the country engaged in business theory, policy research, and practical work to improve the quality of researches, accelerate the cultivation of business research talents and establish and improve the mechanism of scientific research in the business field. This award is used to reward forward-looking, creative, highly theoretical and academic value books, papers and research reports in business field, as well as research results that have an important impact on government decision-making and practical work. They can be divided into four kinds: papers, books, reports and policy research, which cover various fields including world economy, international trade, circulation economy and business law. It is the most authoritative ministerial government award in China's business field.
