Working Conference on Talent Cultivation of BNUBS Was Held

On December 11th, 2019, all directors of BNUBS attended working conference on talent cultivation and discussed the improvement of talent training quality and the construction of talent training system.

 

Sun Chung, director of the MBA center, believed that we should make the distinction between the talent training of professional degree and academic degree clearer, create high-quality MBA courses with high degree of recognition and good reputation, focus on the quality of MBA papers. Yang Juan, director of economics department and Xu Minbo, deputy director of economics department, thought that we should carry out the requirement-- people-oriented and four regression issued by the Ministry of Education on undergraduate education, continue to strengthen ideological and political education, which means to promote good style of study and resolutely resist the style of getting easy grades and try many times in order to get a higher score. Chen Yan, director of the department of human resources, believed that we should strengthen the construction of characteristic majors in undergraduate courses, respond to students' expectations and demands for high-quality talent training, and reasonably plan professional courses in the first year of undergraduate courses, equip teachers and allocate various resources for talent training in MBA. Wei Hao, director of international trade department and director of the center of MIB thought that on the basis that tutors is the first responsible person in charge of postgraduate training, we should carry out the requirements of discipline construction in the training of graduate students. As for the undergraduates, he thought we should guide them to set up a broader academic interests and goals, improve course appeals to students of freshman class. Jiao Hao, director of the business management department and Tong Luqiong, deputy director of the business management department and Xu Zhixing, deputy director of human resources department, thought that we should strengthen the targeted communication with students, focus on professional interests of students before entry, pay attention to the development goals of students after entry, motivate headmasters, actively respond to the concerns of students and play a guiding role by joining the class meeting, theme activities, group activities. Hu Haifeng, director of financial department, thought that moral education should be strengthened, teachers should be dedicated to the whole process of the cultivation of talents in an all-around way, tutors is the first responsible person in charge of academic graduate students training, we should give play to the driving role of discipline team building in postgraduate training, the majors of undergraduate should have characteristics and give full play to the functions and effects of existing projects such as freshman mentor plan and reed plan.

 

Xu Xing and Yang Haijia who are in charge of undergraduate academic affairs introduced the course setting. Li Yingshu who is in charge of postgraduate academic affairs introduced teaching task allocation. Li Jing, deputy director of MBA center introduced course teaching. Zhang Li and Su Xiaoyuan, who is in charge of academic affairs introduced paper quality. Zhang Pingan, deputy dean of BNUBS, presided over the meeting.
