From October 4 to 6, 2018, the 30th anniversary of the 1988 (enrollment of 1984) alumni of BNUBS was successfully held, in which, nearly 50 alumni returned to their alma mater, reminiscing about their unforgettable moments and sharing their life experiences.

At 10 am, BNUBS held a symposium in Room 1620 of the main building. Professor Chen Guangju, Vice Chairman of BNU Alumni Association and former Vice President of BNU, Lai Desheng, Dean of BNUBS and alumnus of Department of Economics, and Zheng Peiquan, Wu Lan, Li Hui and Shen Yue, teachers of the alumni, attended the symposium, which was presided over by alumna Tang Yihong, Dean of School of International Trade and Economics of Central University of Finance and Economics.

At first, on behalf of BNU and alumni association, Professor Chen Guangju delivered a speech and extended a warm welcome to the 1988th alumni. Liu Shuqin, a student representative of the alumni, gave a speech with the theme of “Gratitude, Appreciation and Departure Again”. Later, teachers and students gathered and shared their life experiences and thoughts after 30 years of graduation. Next, teachers of the alumni gave speeches.

Lai Desheng, Dean of BNUBS and alumnus of Department of Economics made a concluding speech, in which, on behalf of BNUBS, he welcomed the alumni to return to their alma mater and expressed his gratitude for their support for BNUBS.

At the end of the symposium, the alumni presented flowers to the teachers and expressed their gratitude and blessings heartily.
