On November 5, Beijing Normal University held the 5th meeting of the 7th Congress of Faculty and staff and the 5th meeting of the 15th Congress of Trade union members. Xie Jia won the "Best Proposal Award" of the Faculty Congress of Beijing Normal University. The proposal is in response to a new parking fee policy to be introduced in BNU in 2021. Xie Jia said, "This award is not a personal honor. It summarizes the opinions and suggestions of the teachers of the college and speaks for everyone. We would like to express my gratitude to BNU, especially the security department who has timely adjusted the parking fee policy to protect the rights and interests of the majority of staff." The School Union would further play the role as a bridge and actively offer suggestions for promoting the democratic management system and the improvement of governance ability of BNU.
