On the forum, participants conducted an in-depth discussion on the theme and the 13^th Five-year Plan on education from several practical perspectives. When “the Belt and Road Initiative” is going to exert profound strategic influence on China’s modern construction and global position, the task of educating international talents to meet the needs of China’s national strategy now became the focus of the forum.

Participants believe that a universal and indispensable “language” should be the key to fulfil connectivity and common development in countries and regions alongside the Belt and Road route, which they regard as a language of finance and economics. Education on finance and economics is comprehensive and multi-disciplinary, and provides essential foundation to improve this “language”. Therefore, “the Belt and Road Initiative” demands talents with comprehensive knowledge on economics, finance and management.

In light of this, Mr. Su Song from BNU proposed a call for papers on the topic of finance and economics quality education. After that, the forum launched a Finance Education Carnival that helped built consensus on how to develop excellent talents for the country.
