On November 13, the Third New Jingshi Youth Leadership Forum was grandly held in Beijing Normal University. The Forum was hosted by the School of Economics and Business Administration and co-hosted by MBA Education Center of BNUBS and MBA Association. Zhou Zuoyu, vice President of Beijing Normal University, attended the forum and delivered a welcome speech. Nie Zhenning, Sun Jiulin and other famous scholars from the cultural and scientific circles delivered keynote speeches. In the forum, participants gathered together, discussed and explored the theme of "Integrating Culture, Science and Technology & Leading the times of Entrepreneurship and Innovation", dedicated to many brilliant keynote speeches and high-end dialogues.

With the main forum of "Integrating Culture, Science and Technology & Leading the times of Entrepreneurship and Innovation" and three sub-forums of "Subversion and Reconstruction - China Education under the Internet Background", "Constructing and Surpassing - Path Selection of Entrepreneurship and Innovation" and "Strategy and Value - Industrial Upgrading and Transformation in the Era of New Technology”, the forum explored, from the perspective of Internet education, innovation and entrepreneurship, transformation and upgrading, etc., how to further accelerate the integration of culture and science and technology under the new normal conditions and immerse the science and technology in the sea of culture, thus creating a diversified industrial forms and carving out new roads and directions for traditional industries’ transformation and development to take the forefront of innovation and entrepreneurship.

At 9:00 am, the main forum was inaugurated in the Jingshi Hall. At 1:30 pm, the three sub-forums were held. The sub-forum of "Chinese Education in the Context of the Internet" was presided over by Fu Shiqi, the director of Department of International Study Tour of the New Oriental Education & Technology Group, and Sun Tao, executive vice president of New Oriental Expectations, shared in-depth insight into international education trends from a global perspective. The sub-forum of "Path Selection of Entrepreneurship and Innovation" invited guests with rich experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. The sub-forum of “Industrial Upgrading and Transformation in the era of New Technology” focused on industrial changes and upgrading and invited Lu Jun, the Managing Director of China Travel Service Group Shanghai Branch and an MBA student of BNU to share his experience and views on the tourism industry. The sub-forums ended successfully from 4: 30 to 5: 00 pm respectively.

 

 

The forum was well appreciated by the guests and all the students. Focusing on the integration of culture and science and technology, it reflects rich humanistic care as well as the deep heritage of BNU’s business education.

In order to encourage more young business elites to explore economic development trends and industry trends and challenges and experience entrepreneurship and innovation, in 2014, BNUBS launched the first "New Jingshi MBA Youth Leadership Forum", which aimed to promote the development of innovation and social enterprises in China, explore new innovative business models, and cultivate the humanistic spirit and international vision for the business leaders.
