A Visit from the SKEMA Business School of France

On the morning of November 10th, SKEMA Business School Dean Alice GUILHON, AssociéBernard BELLOC, Professor Jean-Louis MUCCHIELLI, Executive DirectorCedric BEDINI, Su Zhou Campus Principle Paul D’ AZEMAR and Su Zhou Campus Manager Yang Huihui visited the BNU Business School. They were greeted by BNU Vice President Chen Guangju, University International Office Deputy Director Chen Juan, BNUBS Dean Lai Desheng, Associate to the Dean Cai Hongbo and International Office Director Xie Jia, ect.

 

President Chen Guangju welcomed the guests and generally introduced the achievements that BNU made in recent years on international communication and cooperation. Afterwards, Dean Lai introduced the BNU Business School and its progress on international accreditation as well as cooperation, including aspects such as teacher and student exchange, international workshops and forums as well as international cooperation platforms. Dean GUILHON thanked President Chen and the BNUBS for their warm welcome, then introduced the SKEMA Business School’s characteristics, international network and reputation. Other delegation members then introduced SKEMA’s featured programs and its Su Zhou campus. Both parties discussed possible cooperative areas such as teacher & student exchange, 3+1+1 programs, IMBA programs and short-term summer/winter school programs.

 

Founded in 2009 and being both accredited by AACSB and EQUIS, SKEMA Business School is a result of the merger between the EcoleSupérieure de Commerce, Lille and CERAM Business School, Sophia Antipolis. SKEMA is a member of the Conférence des GrandesEcoles. The school was approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, as an EESPIG (Private Establishment for Higher Education declared to be of pubic usefulness). SKEMA is a community devoted to learning and the creation and transmission of management knowledge and practice. Since its inception, SKEMA has become a global school with a multi-campus structure and a large portfolio of programmes taught in English and in French. These range from undergraduate level to continuing education and are aligned with the Bologna higher education norms (Licence, Master, Doctorate).
