Co-authored by 9 universities and research institutes of China and Europe including Polytechnic University of Marche, University of Macerata, University of Brussels, Beijing Normal University, Tongji University, East China University of Political Science and Law and Hunan University,the EU FP7 Marie Curie Project China and Europe taking care of healthcare solutions (CHETCH) has been officially launched since 2014 January. Prof. Attilio  Mucelli of Polytechnic University of Marche acts as the general coordinator and Prof. Qu Ruxiao of our department is the co-facilitator.

China and EU have spent one year on the opening argument and our project has been successfully approved to be added to EU FP7 Marie Curie Project. Prof. Qu Ruxiao of our department was the co-facilitator of EU Marie Curie Project PROFEEN since 2013 January. The partnership this time is the second time that EU and our department have joint international cooperation for scientific research. This is of great importance for our department to expand international communication and improve our global impact.

CHETCH includes many fields including economics, law, sociology, medical science and so on, aiming at evaluating the level of cooperation between China and Europe in the aspect of medical care and providing opportunities for both sides to have more in-depth cooperation in the area of traditional Chinese medical science and western medical science. Project number: PIRSES-GA-2013-612589. Project duration: 2014-2018. Total budget: 688,800 euros (the budget of our department is 71，400 euros). The budget are mainly used to finance short-term visits of project experts, joint research of young scholars, data acquisition, database establishment and visits of doctoral students of partner universities.

EU FP7 Project is a medium-and-long-term research project for the sake of the wholeness and strategy of EU development. It promotes the scientific research of its members mainly by training scientific researchers, cooperating with other countries, setting up platforms for scientific research and encouraging innovation. Marie Curie Project is a plan launched to improve the competence of scientific researchers of EU.
